visa and own patterns =)

as we don't have internet at our new house yet i can only post from r.'s parents house...i am sorry for that and i really hope that we will get internet next monday. in fact we should have had internet a week ago but somehow something went wrong...
yesterday we went to our appointment for the visa process in netnaya. if you think the offices in your contry are a mess and not organised propperly, you should come here and try (without knowing hebrew) to make your way through the office for visa and other foreign stuff... there seems to be a structure but first of all no one cares and second the structure is made in such a bad way that no one gets it. i feel really sorry for the poor women that work there. anyways, we had allmost all of the papers and got an appointment for a hearing in mai (that was the earliest!!). i hope to post you all the information about workingvisas in israel soon (if/when we get internet).
something else now: i started making my own patterns and hope to set them online on ravelry soon. here is the beginning of eli my elephant

Eli the elephant is adorable! I hope you get everything sorted for your visa. I'm on a marriage visa in the UK and have to take a citizenship test soon. Not looking forward to that - I hate taking tests.

Do you have to become a citizen? I have kept my Danish citizenship, have been living in Germany for 22 years and have had no disadvantages (other than I can't vote for german elections, but I survive that :-) Perhaps it is easier in the UK when you have the citizenship?
